The water is warming up and stabilizing, the conditions are getting ripe. The Ranger 85 was on its special Fathers Day 2 day fishing extravaganza. And boy was it extravagant. Starting the day off in the shallows working for the big ones Mary Tarver of Las Vegas hooked into a monster 50lb barn door and landed it on deck thanks to the gaffing skill of deckhand Chris. Shortly after a 50lb biscuit was pulled up by Choon Park of LA, followed by a 35lb class halibut for 9 total butts. After the shallows were worked they scored limits of red snapper with 400 for the boat. The locals boats have been doing well also, Steve Kelly Capt of the Island Tak pulled in 5 white seabass and 5 Channel Islands quality halibut. Capt Jordan Richard skipper of the Channel Isle had another epic twilight mission putting 21 calicos and 38 sand bass in the sacks. The Aloha Spirit has had steady cuda action with 39 logs for 19 anglers followed by a big score of 59 sand bass. We have Overnight, full day, ? and ? day boats departing daily. Call our office staff to hold your spot or simply book online. Get your gear ready because its fishing season!
