Today the Island Spirit had a halibut/surface special. They had 28 anglers and caught 3 nice halibut up to 30 pounds- PHOTO ATTACHED! They then finished the day shallow water fishing for sheephead, lingcod, sculpin, and rockfish.

The PACIFIC DAWN had 19 anglers and also fished for halibut at the Santa Rosa Island. They managed one 30 pound fish early in the morning before conditions forced them to move behind the island for cover. They ended up catching some shallow water rockfish

Overall a nice day at the islands with some prize flat-fish caught.
