A windy forecast, plus anglers willing to brave the elements, equals coastal shallows! The ride out was not fun, but our spots up the coast produced GREAT VARIETY! ...and shelter from a gale warning.

Fishing in 25 to 75 feet the Island Spirit caught Calico Bass, Sand Bass, Sheephead, Lingcod, Cabazon, Whitefish, Rockfish, Sculpin, and even a couple of Perch.

Great fishing this afternoon, but thank goodness the wind should be done by this evening! We are looking forward to the best forecast of this young season this week... 10 knots or less for the next 7 days!

Online this week we have several trips going, including SEABASS SPECIALS and available spots open on the Pacific Dawn and Island Spirit the first weekend of May. Call the landing to book your spot now! 805-676-3474
