Late winter storms didn't keep anglers from getting in some quality fishing time. Trout bite was very good this week with anglers using Power Bait ( especially rainbow, spring green, salmon peach and garlic), night crawlers, jigs and lures to catch limits. Hot spots included the western and eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shore of lake 2. Catfish were biting on mackerel, meal worms and night crawlers from the western shores of lake 3 and eastern shore of lake 2.

1) Angelo Incardona of Alhambra scored a 5 Lbs 4 Ozs rainbow using garlic Power Bait from the eastern shore of lake 3 across from the pump house.
2) Rancho Cucamonga angler, Jorge Hernandez, reeled in a 4 Lbs 10 ozs trout using chartreuse Power Bait while fishing the western shore of lake 3. His friends, Robert Sandoval of Wildomar and Nathan Velez of Fontana both caught 4 trout each.

Angelo Incardona of Alhambra scored a 5 Lbs 4 Ozs rainbow using garlic Power Bait from the eastern shore of lake 3 across from the pump house. Rancho Cucamonga angler, Jorge Hernandez, reeled in a 4 Lbs !0 ozs trout using chartreuse Power Bait while fishing the western shore of lake 3. Stewart Kwoh of Los Angeles caught his 4 Lbs 14 Ozs rainbow from the northern shore of lake 2 on a night crawler garlic combo.
