Stormy weather and wind tested anglers skills and tackle but those who persevered took home fish. Lots of limits were caught before 11am. Power Bait (especially salmon peach, garlic, spring green and rainbow), night crawlers, jigs and lures ( jakes, thomas buoyants, power worms) all caught trout. Hot spots included the western and eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the eastern and northern shores of lake 2.

Holiday Hours:
December 24th: 7am to 12pm.
December 25th: Closed Christmas Day.
December 26th: 7am to 4pm.

Catches of the Week: Jerry Young of Apple Valley caught his limit which included a 6 lbs 3 ozs rainbow from the northern shore of lake 2 near the bridge on rainbow Power Bait. Scott Tyler of Azusa reeled in 3 lbs 8 ozs trout using garlic Power Bait from the eastern shore of lake 2. Mark Carter of Norco caught a 3 lbs 11 ozs rainbow on a Power Mouse (orange Power Worm/spring green Power Bait) while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3. The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round. This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
