The Aloha Spirit got into the big, hard charging, Anacapa Home Guards. As soon as we arrived it was fulll speed fishing. My entire season was made as I watched my wife, Jennifer Khaki's rod load up and line start smokin off the reel. Jen landed her first Yellowtail today and I'd have to say it'll be a while before she one-ups this nice fish! Captain Shawn Steward dropped the hook far away from all of the boat traffic on the fishing grounds and it paid off. We landed some quality Yellows and even managed to do some Rockfishing.
