Trout action is good as Fall approaches and the rainbows begin to move on the lakes. Anglers are using Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, garlic and rainbow), night crawlers, jigs and lures to catch limits. Hot spots included the grassy point and the eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the northern and western shores of lake 2. Catfish were biting on shrimp, mackerel and night crawlers. Hot spots for catfish included the northern shore of lake 2 and the western shore of lake 3 with fish up to 4 pounds. Bass are biting on spinner bait and senkos with anglers reporting fish up to 3 pounds. Hot spots for bass included the northern and western shores of lake 3 and the western and southern shores of lake 2. Bluegill are biting meal worms and small jigs from the southern and eastern shore of lake 2 and the northern and western shores of lake 3.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round. This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
