Rate Fishing Action by Species

Trout: Excellent, avg size 3.50 lbs.
Catfish: Slow, avg. size 3 lbs.
Largemouth Bass: poor, avg. size 3 lbs.
Crappie: Poor, avg. size 0oz.
Bluegill/Red ear: Slow, avg. size 3oz.
Striped Bass: none
Carp: Slow, avg. size 2.5lbs

Important Information

Power Bait Worms and Night crawlers working well right now for Trout. Mackerel and night crawlers best for catfish. Light colored mini jigs best for bluegill. Dark plastics best for large mouth.

SPECIAL UPDATE

Due to the recent flooding of our Park, Horseshoe Lake has sustained major damage. The damage has temporarily closed that lake only. Our Pelican Lake is up and running and the fish are hitting just as hard. The trout are jumping, begging to be hooked. The Park will continue to stock at Pelican Lake. So come on in and enjoy a day of fishing.
