Trout: Trout action has been decent with at least five catches a day.
Catfish: Catfish action is slowly coming back, with most of the action on the backside of the lake and parking lot 1.
Largemouth Bass: Bass actions is slow but is expected to take off in late March early April.
Bluegill: No action recorded

Important Information

Recently the best baits included Powerbait: Rainbow, YumYum, Chart, Lime Twist and Chartreuse. The better areas to fish for trout include Basin 2 located around Parking Lot 6 or 7. Also, Parking Lot 1 point is an active area for trout. If one is fishing specifically for Carp, Bass, or Catfish the backside of the lake is the best area. We did not receive a fish plant this week by our hatchery but the state planted 750 pounds of Trout.
