At LBSF the big squid are in the news. The landing has 2 boats on line every night to fish them. Last week there were over 200 total caught ( up to 40 pounds)The landing has the the big jigs needed to fish them safely. Also the pot o gold halibut derby boat the native sun has some good drifts despite rain outs. San pedro bait Co. has had a constant supply of mixed size sardeen and plenty of live squid. Hot set up has been a shot of 20/25 floro along with a 1/0 to 3/0 good quality hook and enough weight to keep it on the bottom.
