Anglers reported good to excellent trout action on both lakes this week.

Trout were hitting Power Bait ( especially rainbow, spring green, chartreuse and orange), night crawlers, jigs and lures. Hot spots included the eastern logged shore and western shore from the pump house to the bridge of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the Week:

Thomas Watanuki of Apple Valley scored a 5 lbs 14 oz rainbow on a green lure from the northern shore of lake 2 near the inlets.

Donald Durham of Redlands caught his 3 lbs 13 ozs rainbow using trout roe from the eastern logged shore of lake 3.

Greg Karlston of Azusa reeled in a 3 lbs 15 ozs trout on rainbow Power Bait from the western shore of lake 3 near the drain.

Jared Lyons of Corona caught his 3 lbs 14 ozs rainbow on a silver kastmaster from the western shore of lake 3 near the bridge.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.

This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
