Opening Day 2026 was an exciting day out on the water, the boats saw a huge variety of fish coming over the rails with enjoyable weather.

RITA G was on a 12 hour trip, 17 anglers brought in limits of Lingcod with another dozen safely released, limits of reds, and also grabbed coppers, canaries, boccaccios, olives, chinas, starrys, blues, white fish, petrale soles, and safely released a giant octopus and a wolf eel. Jackpot winner was Gary Davis with a 21 pound ling cod. Over 50 lingcod hit the deck for opening day!

FIESTA was on a 3/4 day trip with 18 anglers bringing in boat limits of rockfish! Wide variety including lingcod, cabezon, reds, coppers, blues, bocaccio, tree fish, olives. Got a visit from a 5 foot thresher shark luckily no one had to pay the tax man, and even snuck in some whale watching.
