Naci held steady at 66 percent of capacity, and the fishing remained phenomenal. For sheer numbers, there was probably no better place to fish than Nacimiento. Numerous anglers reported catching more than 100 fish in a single day. Topwater walking baits, small swimbaits, grubs, and nearly any finesse presentation produced bass from 2 to 30 feet deep. Crankbaits, jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits also worked well. White bass went for topwater baits, small swimbaits, and spoons. Crappie were caught on minijigs near submerged brush, and catfish took cut baits and dip bait.
