First charter of the year went well. Few spots bit better than others but we put a good day together! We’re chartered again tomorrow and online open party through the week and into the weekend! Being an assortment of sinkers (8-16oz.. maybe just 1 or 2 each) and hooks size 2-2/0. As far as rod and reel recommendations, nothing too far out of the ordinary as we’re primarily fishing 300 feet or less but it would be wise to bring a heavy action rod with a 2 speed or “30” sized reel or larger filled with enough braid to make some deep drops.
