•Best Bait: Minnows, Mini Jigs (Black, White, Pink), Nightcrawlers, Chartreuse PowerBait

•Dates Covered on This Fishing Report: 3/6/23 – 3/16/23.

•Weather Conditions: Cold Days (approx. 41-47˚) and Chilly nights (approx. 32-36˚). We’ve had many clear cool days, along with some rainy days.

•Water Temperature: 45˚, Water Level: 100% normal, Clarity: Cloudy.

•Last Stock: Trout (1,000 LBS): Thursday, 3/16/23

•Next Stock: Trout (1,000 LBS): Thursday, 3/23/23

•Hatchery: Mt. Lassen, Lassen Peak, CA (Trout)

•Average Size: Most 1.5 – 2.5 pounds. Several caught were in the 5-8LB range.

•Top Spots of the Week: Drain, Finger Cove, North Shore

George Lopez, from Hesperia, reeled in a 7.5LB trout over at the Drain.

Saimer Tressa, from Apple Valley, landed this lightning trout over at the Finger Cove.

Alejandro Gutierrez landed himself a lightning trout on the North Shore.

Christopher Baumann, from Riverside, had a great day at the Lake, landing 3 lightning trout and a rainbow trout using a combination of mouse tails, nightcrawlers, and mini jigs over on the North Shore. Wonderful day!

Albert Rodriguez, from Highland, caught himself a nice 7LB 10oz trout also at the Finger Cove.

Michael Schumacher pulled in a 6.3LB trout at Sandy Point.

Luis Garcia reeled in this 7.1LB Trout using a pink minnow at the Drain.

Eduardo caught his first fish ever!! He caught himself a catfish over on the North Shore. Way to go!
