The lake held near 56 percent of capacity, and water conditions continue to be poor. The floating debris haven’t been as much of an issue lately, and launching is possible on most days. The water clarity is the real issue for anglers at the lake, and so most anglers are still driving to Pyramid. With the improved water conditions trout anglers got bit using floating baits like Powerbait and other dough baits. Minijigs, nightcrawlers, and lures also scored bites. Bass took drop shot and shaky heads in 10 to 40 feet of water. Striper ate cut baits in 25 to 50 feet of water, and catfish fell for dip bait, chicken liver, and cut baits.
