Just when the river was getting back into good shape, up went the flows and made things a bit tougher. We're currently dealing with high water due to the dropping of Crowley Lake in anticipation of the snowmelt this spring/summer. That being said, fishing is still possible. Naturally with these flows fish are more spread out and require covering more water to find but some spots are still giving up multiple fish. Nymphing with some extra weight has been the ticket while a subtle mid-day bite can be found on dries on warmer days. For the time being, our walk and wade trips will just be walk and bank fish as the river is not safely wadeable in these flows. We're finding willing fish in both the wild trout and drift boat sections. We have dates available, get in touch to get out there!
