The biggest fish of the season has just been caught!!! Juan Angel landed a MONSTER 10 LB 12oz trout using his own custom-made bait over at the Drain. All we can say is WOW!!!

•Weather Conditions: Cool Days (approx. 51-61˚) and Cold Nights (approx. 32-37˚). We’ve had many clear cool days, along with rainy days.
•Water Temperature: 46˚, Water Level: 100% normal, Clarity: Cloudy
•Last Stock: Trout (1,000 LBS): Thursday, 1/26/23
•Next Stock: Trout (1,000 LBS): Thursday, 2/2/23
•Hatchery: Mt. Lassen, Lassen Peak, CA (Trout)
•Average Size: Most 1.5 – 2.5 pounds. Several caught were in the 8-9 LB range.
•Top Spots of the Week: Finger Cove, North Shore, Drain

Ben Caporale, from Hesperia, reeled in his first trout of the season! He caught it on a black crazy legs mini jig over by the Drain.

Paul Nieves, from Corona, reeled in this 8.6 LB trout on a brown and gold minnow over by the Finger Cove. Nice Catch!

Julio Hidalgo, from Oak Hills, pulled in this gorgeous 9.3 LB trout using a black minnow on the Finger Cove.
