Fishing has been on the slow side at Hart Park, but there’s always a few anglers who seem to buck the trend. Anglers fishing punching gear in heavy cover were the ones who did well last week. Several bass to five pounds were reported by anglers fishing creature baits in the thick stuff. Bass also went for Texas rigged six-inch plastic worms and topwater frogs. Catfish anglers used cut sardines, dip bait, and chicken liver to fool fish, and bluegill took redworms and waxworms.
