Fishing was fair at BV with bass and catfish as the best bets. Bass chased swimbaits, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits along weed lines. The cattails also held plenty of bass and the change in weather seemed to draw them out to bite Senkos and creature baits a bit further from the heavy cover. Catfish anglers fooled fish with chicken liver, cut anchovies, and fresh shrimp, and bluegill ate any live worm.
