Aqueduct fishing has been good for all species. Striper anglers landed some massive fish while using jumbo live minnows, sardines, and lugworms. Good numbers of smaller striper went for Flukes on a jig head, white jerkbaits, and topwater lures. Largemouth bass fell for Senkos, drop shot, and topwater lures. Topwater has been best early and late in the day while finesse techniques worked well in slower moving water. Stringers of whiskerfish have been coming out and the bite has been excellent. Anglers with the second rod stamp have stated that they’ve had both rods going off at the same time. Catfish anglers reported solid action on cut baits, Triple S Dip Bait, and fresh shrimp. Crappie were reported by an angler fishing the outtake grates with live worms.
