August 23, 2009: Erin Schneider, 8 year old girl with a broken arm, from Hemet, caught a 2 lb. trout using powerbait. Great catch, Erin! Trysten Waggoner, age 5, Palm Desert, caught a 1 1/2 lb. Trout by the dam, fishing with his dad using powerbait. Pete and Tina Wynn, Hemet, were trolling with nightcrawlers. She caught 6 trout in 2 hrs. August 09, 2009: James Steele, Hemet, was fishing by dam with powerbait and worms. Caught 2 Carp, 2 Trout and 1 Bass. August 11, 2009: Sophie and Chris Carver, Idyllwild, were trolling with lures by the dam. Despite heavy wind, they brought in 5 very nice trout averaging 1 to 2 lbs.
