Catfish are still your best bet here at Lake Skinner this past week, however the striper made a move towards the end of the week. The cool mornings with overcast skies and lingering fog made for some good striper fishing that burned out with the clouds as the sun broke through. Striper were hitting anchovies and chicken liver near the Dam and the Inlet. Cats were the best bet from shore this past week. Parking has been restricted for Ramp #2, however the shoreline is still open for fishing and that is where they were biting. Cats were hitting mackerel and chicken livers, and were hitting near the Dam and Inlet as well as the East End. Bluegill still showing up in fair numbers along the South shore in the late afternoons.

These are the following fish reports:

Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Good
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Excellent
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Good
Trout: Poor
