The water is constantly dropping a foot or two a day and will continue throughout the summer. The fishing has steadily been improving believe it or not and the fish are active. The largemouth and smallmouth have been boiling and chasing shad. Top-water, flukes, and little poppers have been working and accounting for good sized fish as well. The finesse bite is still on as well, mainly using Robo worms and senkos. The striped bass have also accounted for a good number of fish. The catfish are being caught off cut bait and nightcrawerls. The crappie and bluegill have bene a little elusive and the lower lake has been more productive for these species.
