Creek fishing was a bit on the slow side again this week after yet another week without a DFG plant. Thankfully Adopt-A-Creek did stock 2lb average Alpers in the South Fork and Intake II this week which helped out a lot. Anglers aren't loading up on huge numbers of fish in the creek but there are some quality fish being caught on salmon eggs, mini-jigs and Panther Martins.

Bishop Creek Canyon Summer Classic Derby:

South Lake, Sabrina, North Lake, Intake II, Weir Pond and both forks of Bishop Creek will receive tagged fish for the derby that started June 1st and continues through the end of the month. Registration is $5 and you can register at Parchers Resort, South Lake Landing, Bishop Creek Lodge, Lake Sabrina, Cardinal Village, Creekside RV Park, Culver's Sporting Goods, Mac's Sporting Goods and the Bishop Chamber of Commerce. Anglers lucky enough to catch a tagged fish will win prizes worth up to $300!!!
