As of November 1st the lake capacity was 67%. The best time to come will be in the mornings and afternoons or when we have cloudy/overcast days. We are still open and will be open for fall and winter. We are in the fall season for bass fishing! Large and smallness have been biting on lipless crank baits, swim-jigs, swimbiats and jigs. The bass are continuing to school up and round up shad and push them into the backs of coves. Now is the time to use those baitfish imitating lures such as jerk baits, swimsuits and lipless cranks. On hotter days, using a drops shot or ned-rig will catch those lethargic bass. You can find bass in the grass, timber and off main lake points. We painted trout on 10/28. The bite has been good for trout! The trout have been biting on almost everything.
