Today’s Fish Count:  7 Boats • 122 Anglers

47 Calico Bass, 15 Bonito, 5 Yellowtail, 2 Barracuda, 4 Sculpin, 9 Perch, 12 Lingcod, 19 Sheephead, 764 Ocean Whitefish, and 581 assorted Rockfish species.

It seems some boats are fishing a little deeper with each passing day, while others are hanging out in the shallows anticipating a resurgent bass or yellowtail bite. Both styles of fishing have seen success but it’s not clear which direction the boats are leaning toward. October is usually a transition month but like everything this year, 2020 is anything but predictable.
