Sorry folks but the DFG will no longer disclose how many pounds we are planted with as of this last plant. Rumor also has it that plant schedules will no longer be for public knowledge. That has not been confirmed. The only confirmation given was the fact we will not know how many pounds we receive until further notice. Wind and rain has kept many fishermen home or at work this past week but, on a much lighter note, Sunday seems to again be the day to catch again this week as the fishing here on the upper lake has shown a bit of improvement for both Largemouth Bass and Striper. The cut bait fishermen have been seen with a few fish on a stringer in the 1-4 pound range and a couple double digit linesides have been sighted and confirmed all on top water plugs and swim baits. Largemouth is still a little tougher than the norm but a few anglers have reported 4 to 7 fish days along with a few over 10 fish days for some. Plastics are apparently the key, Trout fishermen should load up with powerbait in a wide variety of colors according to one regular here as they change up from one cast to the next.
