Striper was the main action this week as colder weather has settled over Lake Skinner. Inlet and Dam were best spots using cut anchovies and " Jigging " the bait. Some striper also showing at Ramp #2 and East end off of chicken liver. Trout still strongest at Ramp #2 with mix-colored Power Bait and Nightcrawlers working the best. Few cats have been spotted at the Inlet and word is that a 11 pounds Largemouth was landed but not reported.

Bluegill: Poor
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent
Trout: Excellent

Another weekly Trout Plant has brought out a crowd of hungry anglers, the trout action is best at Launch Ramp Z and with the crowded shorelines, the best reports were from boating anglers. Trout and striper top the catch this week. The Launch Ramp 2 Coves are the most productive trout areas, with powerbait and night crawlers as favorite baits. Boating anglers are pulling limits of striper at the Inlet and Dam Bouyline. These are the following ratings: Bass: Fair with an Average size of 3 pounds.
