The Annual Fish Derby scheduled for April 18 & 19, 2020 is postponed until October 17 & 18, 2020 due to the Corona Virus. The Tackle shop will take reservations for bait rental for the Derby on September 17,2020 at 6am. Over the phone at the tackle shop 805-688-4040 or walk up.

As of March 14,2020 the lake is at 71.3% capacity. Out new hours here are 7am to 7pm. Last boat rental is at 4pm and all baits are due back at 6pm.

Bass and Crappie are biting. Bass are in the shallows hitting on robo worms and night crawlers both garlic and regular scented. One angler caught a crappie fly fishing. Bass are being caught in Santa Cruz Bay too. The tackle shop is well stocked with all of your fishing needs. We sell CDFW fishing licenses. We sell hot coffee and snack too.
