We are still waiting on our next trout stocking and has been about 4 weeks since our last. With that said, there are still a few anglers managing to score some rainbow trout. Most catches have been off Power-bait and small trout swimbaits. We are finally on the list and are expecting one this week. Some anglers bye boat have been reporting a decent bite off in deeper waters. The stripers are slowly starting to make more of an appearance but are still difficult to locate. Most bites are coming off cut bait in deep water. A lot of people have been able to see a bunch of fish down deep on their fish finders but have been having a tough time getting them to commit. There have also been a few reports of catfish being caught while soaking a sardine or anchovy. The largemouth and smallmouth have been tough to target, with most fish being caught in the 20-40 foot depth and shallower. Some anglers have reported getting bites as shallow as 10 feet of water which is a good sign. The lower lagoon has secretly been good fishing with decent largemouth showing off ice jigs and spoons. Crappie have also been reported to be hitting smaller spoons and jigs as well. The upper lake has been tough for bluegill and crappie lately.

Some limits have been brought in as of late but has slowly thinned out since the last plant. A few anglers going for trout off boats have also been having luck and getting into a few holdovers. Power-baits and Kastmasters have been working best....... Read More
