The bass continue to be the big story. Most were caught from baits, using jigs, lures and drop shots with roboworms. The popular lures are Rapalas, S Wavers and Flicker Shads. Trolling is very successful, especially but the dam. We’re still over 70% water capacity, well about the spillway, so no trout plants are schedules.

Bass Bite is Excellent Around the Lake
Cachuma LakeThe bass bite is excellent all around the lake, on and off the shore. Those willing to share said they used Robo worms and mondo worms. A sunfish was caught just past the buoys.
