The cold weather hasn't stopped the hardiest anglers from successful hunting of striped bass and rainbow trout. Trout are productive all day long and the striped bass have been showing best in the warmer late morning and early afternoon conditions.

These are the following ratings:

Bass: Fair with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Bluegill: Fair with an Average size of 1 pound.
Carp: Fair with an Average size of 4 pound.
Catfish: Good with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Striper: Excellent with an Average size of 4 pounds.
Trout: Excellent with an Average size of 2 pounds.

Another weekly Trout plant has stimulated the activity around the Launch Ramp 2 coves. The Striped Bass have been hitting well- placed anchovies throughout the day. Trout continue to provide the best action for boating and shore anglers. The striped bass are hitting best in the morning hours, with the larger specimens being pulled on simulated trout baits, Catfish are still good for the most patient anglers soaking stink bait.
