Today’s Fish Count: 10 Boats and 183 Anglers.

1,854 Rockfish, 735 Ocean Whitefish, 67 Lingcod, 73 Sheephead, 8 Sculpin, 1 Bonito, 55 Calico Bass, and 3 Halibut.

The weather couldn’t be nicer for fishing the Channel Islands. The ocean is flat calm and unbelievably clear. In some areas you can see the bottom in 60 feet of water. With the time change Sunday, anglers got a sundown treat as they headed to the barn. Boats had big bags of Rockfish, Whitefish, and Sheephead. A select few had good bass fishing and even a few Halibut. Good times!
