Cooler weather colder water brings out the Trout and Striper. Good Trout and Striper activity in Cleghorn and Millers Canyon still off the dam, larger striper have been caught off the docks, medium size stripers and average size trout. Quiring love and Sycamore Launching has been another hot spot for Bass and some Trout.

These are the following ratings:
Bass: Good
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent
Trout: Excellent

Trout activity is excellent in Cleghorn Cove and throughout Millers Canyon. Either off the shore line or in a boat, 20-30 feet of water. And where there are Trout the Stripers are near by. Stripers also doing well in Chamise Bay and across from outhouse cove. Cold weather, colder water brings the fish out. Striper hitting good in Cleghorn docks due to recent Trout plant, on Anchovies and Swim baits. Largemouth Bass good at plants on Swim bait and Nightcrawlers. Trout hitting good in Cleghorn on Trout dip and Powerbait. Catfish on docks off of chicken liver and mackerel. These are the following ratings: Bass: Good with an Average size of 5 pounds.
