The water temperature is 78-90 degrees. Water level is on the rise and inlet flow is moderate. A lot of bait fish and fry in the water.

Striper: Still random boils popping up all over the lake especially by the dam and main lake area. If you can find one throw a small spook or spinner bait. JErkbaits have also been producing a decent number of our average 2 pond stripers. The cut bait bite is still relatively slow with our regular anglers being able to land neat limits after a few more hours than normal.

Largemouth Bass: medium Action: Jerkbaits are a fun and effective bait nearly every day. If that doesn’t do the trick try going back to basic tactics such as nightcrawlers, senkos or roboworms.

Catfish: best bite on the lake this week. Many anglers of all skill levelss have been able to catch good numbers of our freshly stocked catfish.

Bluegill: small ones still being caught on crickets, red worms and night crawlers and wax worms over in the east bay.

Trout: No action this time of year.

Carp: Same every week on this species. Plenty out there come and get them.
