The water temperature is slowly decreasing as the inversion layer causes the colder water to rise to thesurface. Catfish are hitting on worms/mackerel pretty much everywhere along the bottom. Both large and small mouth bass are showing up along shorelines and points, They are on topwater until the afternoon and as the day goes on, they dive down to around 20 feet. Swimbaits, plastic worms, night crawlers and deep diving crankbaits are all great for bass here. Bright colors or dark, opaque colors are recommended due to water clarity. Trout are finally starting to show up, but won't be a very common catch for another couple weeks. The trout plant should be in December. Crappie are biting 5 to 15 feet down. They are mostly caught near structure (reeds or shade) using jigs/atomic tubes. Limits are being caught!! Carp have been coming up lately both by bow and by hook and worm. They seem to be pretty large at average.
