Adopt-A-Creek planted the South Fork this week so it's no wonder that fishing was excellent. Most folks were able to get their limit in just a few hours of fishing. Anglers working the stream are doing best with yellow salmon eggs and rainbow holographic panther martins.
Also, please note that Adopt-A-Creek has partnered with the Piute Palace Casino and will be stocking Alpers with bright orange tags worth $25-$100 in casino credits. Five of these tagged fish will be put in the creeks, North Lake & Intake II each week!

South LakeFishing was excellent at South Lake this week after Tuesday's monster plant of over 150 Alpers in addition to the weekly allotment of DFG fish. Now that the lake level is up, the inlets are the place to be. The Gilbert Glacier, Long Lake and Treasure Inlets are all holding plenty of fish, and some big ones too.
