The water is starting its temperature invasion this week. The warm summer temperatures are disappearing and the top water action is turning on. The crappie is biting 5 to 10 feet under the surface. They are mostly caught near structure (reeds or shade). The rainbow trout are coming closer to the top of the water column as the water cools down. We will see them jumping any day now. The catfish bite is very strong lately. They are caught off the bottom pretty much anywhere on the lake. Bluegill & Redear come up on small baits on a floater. Also, they are usually caught while jigging for crappie. We are at about 35% capacity, with about 87ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. There is still plenty of water for great fishing!! We have live bait for sale as well as coffee and snacks! Check out 805webcam for: weather conditions and scenic views.
