The shad have moved on out of the marina for the most part but can be found in small pockets right down the shoreline or in some of the coves. There haven't been too many boils lately, but you are still able to get some largemouth and smallmouth first thing in the morning and later in the evening on top water and some reaction baits. Throughout the day you can still finesse a few bass with a ned rig or a drop-shot roboworm. Anglers who can net the shad are having wide open days catching all species. Stripers still haven't really been boiling but there have been some reports of them being caught trolling and hitting deeper points on the main channels. The fellow angler who's willing to bait and wait has been having some luck with a few fish per person to report. The best bait has been a large nightcrawier, lug worm, or a sardine. Most bait fish have been caught deep around 80 feet of water. The Bluegill bite remains steady with good numbers being caught. Catfish has slowed down a little, but you are still able to get one or two soaking a chunk or mackerel or chicken liver.
