This week proved to be a great fishing week. Rainbow trout are coming up to 25 & 30 feet. They are being caught around the dam and in Johnson Bay. They love our garlic nightcrawlers & Panther Martins when trolling. Crappie were a little slower this week but still being caught. They are usually hiding out around the reeds. Try Crappie j1s. They love them! Large & Small Mouth Bass were really active this week. Trolling toward the east and near the Dam seemed to be the best places. Rapalas and Flicker Shads work great! Catfish are active and being caught near the dam and the coves around the Marina. Mackerel has been a popular choice. Bluegill are being elusive but still around if you know where to look. We are at 37% capacity here at the lake with about 125 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. Our weather has been warm but not enough to affect fishing.
