Happy 4th of July!! The water temperature is 70 degrees. Water level is down.

Next Stock of Catfish is July 6th, 2018, 400 pounds! Striper: Slow Action: Striper early morning hours or late evening out by the Inlet or buoy line using anchovies or sardines. Blue Gill: Slow Action: Blue Gills are hitting on Crickets and Nightcrawlers, remember always light line and small hooks. Catfish: High Action: Catfish have been doing great, hitting on anchovies, chicken liver and mackerel. Cats can be caught over by Launch Ramp 2. Large Mouth: High Action: Large Mouth on some frog action or top water poppers.. Large Mouth have also been hitting on Nightcrawlers by the shore Ramp 2. Trout: No Action:. Carp: High action: Don't forget plenty of Carp ready to catch! Stop by the camp store or marina and share your fishing stories with us and get a picture taken so we can post it on FB.

Catch and release is a great thing to practice to insure the species a healthy abundant environment to keep on producing for many more years of fun here.

The water temperature is 70 degrees. Last Stock of Catfish was June 22', 2018, 400 pounds. Striper: Slow Action: Early morning hours near the Dam and Inlet using nightcrawlers, shad, white jigs, and mackerel. Blue Gill: Slow Action: Blue Gill across from Marina using red worms, meal worms and nightcrawlers. Happy Father's Day! The water temperature is 68 degrees, water level has continued to drop. Catfish: High Action- Catfish were last stocked on June 8th, 2018, 400 pounds. Many Happy Anglers catching Cats over near Launch Ramp 2, Catfish Alley and in the coves using chicken livers, anchovies, garlic shrimp and mackerel. Next stock will be June 22nd, 2018, 400 pounds.
