Welcome to beautiful Cachuma Lake. Trout have been a little slow this week and are down around 10- 12 feet. The big ones are still here so come try your Iuck(or skill). Crappie have also slowed down and are being a bit more elusive. They are still hanging around the reeds but a little further down. Large and Small Mouth Bass have completed their spawn now and are being caught all over the lake. Catfish finally are active again and being caught mostly near the dam. Mackerel has been a popular choice for the catfish as well as our Bloody Catfish Dough. We are just over 40% of capacity here at the lake with about 130 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. The wind has been kicking up in the afternoons to about 15 mph. but has been dying down after 4 p.m. Visit our marina and talk with our friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sam, Jake, Chris and Caleb are always on hand to give you the latest fishing information! We look forward to seeing you!!
