The lake temperature is 81 degrees and the bass are feeding. Robbie Cornell & Cole McComber reported catching 4 nice bass fishing Cowles Point drop shotting purple plastic worms with the largest being a 4 pounder. The Bluegill bite has started to improve with anglers reporting good luck using Night Crawlers by the fishing pier. The Catfish bite has been slow due to the hot weather.

Lake SkinnerThe water temperature is between 76-78 degrees. Striper: Medium Action- Best time to ca catch these beauties is still early morning over at the inlet and dam area. Bait of choice has been jerk baits, swimbaits, and of course umbrella rigs trolling deep waters. Bait of choice has been anchovies, mackerels, and night crawlers have been very successful.
