The Largemouth Bass are finally hitting off the reeds. Anglers are reporting best action from plastics, jigs and inflated night crawlers. There is still a good hold over trout bite at launch ramp and as well as bluegill from boat access spots.

The striped bass continue to hit well. The best action reported by boating anglers. Catfish are on the rise with the with the warm temperatures. Local anglers are bringing in stringers full of bluegill, but they are hesitant to reveal their secret spots. Excellent Spring Conditions have escalated the bit. Many anglers are bringing in stringers of bluegill. This week the bass and spawning in the shallows. Striped bass and trout are still the top producers.Notables;Jared Weigand caught 3 striped bass with the biggest one being 4 pounds.
