BASS

The bass bite has been on and off. Senkos, swimbaits and dropshotting plastics are working best. Islands and points are the best areas to fish for bass.

STRIPER

Anglers are starting to catch decent size striper trolling with flies and using swimbaits. The stripers are looking much healthier, averaging 10 pounds. Anchovies and sardines work great as well.

CATFISH

There were no reports of catfish caught this week. Nightcrawlers, anchovies and Mackerel work best. The best spot to fish for catfish are near the dams and coves.

PANFISH

There were some reports of crappie being caught this week. Mealworms, and night crawlers are recommended for catching panfish. The best spot to fish for them is near the ladders on the dams.

TROUT

Miini jigs, powerbait, and nightcrawlers are recommended for trout fishing. The best area to fish for them is near the marina where we stock.

BASS The bass bite picked up this week! Senkos, and dropshotting plastics are working best. With the water level rising, there are a lot of shrubs and weeds submerging making great habitat. STRIPER Anglers are starting to catch decent size striper trolling with flies and using swimbaits. Anchovies and sardines work great as well.
