The wet weather has only brought out the hardiest of anglers and they were rewarded with quite good action. Striped Bass was the most popular catch. With Trout close behind. Some Largemouth Bass and Panfish are starting to spawn.

Notables
Monty Walker caught 2 striped bass up to 2.5 pounds using Anchovies at the Inlet. Sean Sy from San Bernardino, CA caught a 4 pound striped bass using Chicken Livers at the East End. Bob Warner caught 2 rainbow trout near the launch ramp using night crawlers.

Excellent Striper action this week! The best reports coming from boating anglers dragging anchovies or chicken livers. Trout action continues to be excellent too. We got a rainbow trout plant of 400 pounds on February 8th. The warmer weather has brought up the striper activity with many boating anglers pulling their limit. Excellent Trout bite at the launch ramp/stocking area on a variety of baits. Floating bait is best. Make it float just above the mossy bottom.
