Fishing at Castaic is getting better right now. The water level continues to come up consistently. The stripers have been boiling good all day. The average size is 3 to 4lbrs.Lugworms and sardines are starting to work better for the stripers. The largemouth bass has been slow. There are some bass busting on shad in the mornings. Not too much action has been going on with the catfish bite this week. As the temperature increases the catfish action should improve.

Fishing at Castaic is getting better right now.The water level continues to come up consistently. Anglers are catching stripers on cutbait and lugworms by necktie canyon and the buoy line first thing in the morning. The largemouth bass are chasing shad in the mornings so Senkos and weedless plastics are some good baits to throw. Not too much action has been going on with the catfish bite this week. Fishing at Castaic is good right now.The stripes fishing has been very good.There have been some good boils in the mornings.Guys have been catching limits of stripers on topwater and jerkbaits. The largemouth bass are starting to school up and attack shad.Most bass are still being caught on weedless plastics but are starting to bite reaction baits pretty good.The catfish has been slow. ......
