The water temperature is 70 degrees. Lake Skinner’s Annual Balloon & Wine Festival this weekend, May 20a thru the 22th, 2016. Striper: Medium Action: Coves over by ramp 2, this week hitting on chicken livers, shad, and anchovies. Blue Gill: Medium Action: Red worms, wax worms night crawlers and plastic worms any small worm with jigs. . . in coves and reeds. Catfish: Slow Action- Catfish are hitting on chicken livers right now and are over in the launch ramp 2 area. Large Mouth: Medium Action: Lg. Mouth have slowed some and are hitting on roboworms in front of the reeds. ..Basically dropshot or free flying the worm. Trout: No Action/No Trout plants. Carp: High Action: Carp are hitting on chicken liver and anchovies this week. Always fun to catch! Also use your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover.
