Fishing at Castaic is fair right now.The striper fishing has been slow.Most stripers are being caught on swimbaits and shad pattern reaction baits.The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing has been good. The bass are moving into shallow water to spawn.Most bass are being caught on Senkos and Roboworms in 5 to 20ft deep.Bass are also biting reaction baits like crankbaits and chatterbaits.Catfish bite has slowed a bit but fisherman are still catching a few on mackerel and nightcrawlers.
